Warranty on bilsteins?
you will need to deal with the people you bought the shocks from. the shocks are sent to bilstein with proof of purchase,[or no warranty] then they test them and decide if they will warranty them. oh and you get to pay the freight back and forth to bilstein. if the shock is determined to have less than 20% life left then they will replace them. and a leak dosen't always mean it is a warranty isuue. I just went through this with my 5100's, WHAT A LOAD OF B'S!!!!! last set I 'll ever own.
unfortunately ptextreme is right. Bilstein does not necessarily consider leaking to be a defect (after the first 90 days, i think). their warranty is one of the weak points of owning them- i've had leaking 4 year old pro-comp and superlift shocks replaced at no cost (no shipping either), but Bilstein is not known for their liberal warranty policies.
