About a month ago my truck started to vibrate through the steering wheel. It seems to do it when the truck is at a idle. The truck as 23,000 miles. It is not a miss, just a vibration that you can feel through the steering wheel. Once the truck takes off it is smooth. Any ideas?

See if exhaust coming from tail pipe is even or choppy,even a slight chop.Do this at idle only.Not at speed.

 

Hounddog, I did check my exhaust last night, and it does sound a little choppy. Do you think it could be a injector problem.

does it FEEL choppy.Put your hand up to it.Should be smooth.If its burbing on your hand its got a miss.Neighbors did that yesterday.Rough out and in gear(auto) I had him romp on it hard through 1st and 2nd.By goodness it cleared up.
