I have the rear overhead VES system in my ram and I just recently purchased a cable to go from RCA jacks to aux head phone jack. I have been using an FM transmitter which provided horrid sound quality. I just realize that I can tap audio into the sound system via the rear VES......stupid me. I am not sure why I didn't think it earlier.

Now the issue i'd like to address is the cable hanging for the ceiling. I hate it. I was thinking I might be able to take the VES down and solder some rca cables on the back side of the unit then run a aux jack to the center council and mount it. Is there any chance anyone else out there has attempted this?
