Vandals

Just thought I would go on here and blow off some steam to some people who would understand. Right after the bowl tonight my wife and I heard something crash outside our house. I threw on some cloths and ran outside and found my neighbors trashcan sitting behind my truck. Seems some kids thought it would be fun to smash the full trashcan into the tailgate which left a big dent and scratches down to the primer. They sped off before I got outside and we could hear them stop and smash another vehicle a few roads over. Its awful nice of them to smash my $35,000 truck with less than 700 miles on it. I hope they come by to visit when I have time to get outside.

Yeah, this morning I came out to find out that some kids slim-jim'd my lock and then took my radar detector and my MagLite. MagLite was a Christmas present!!!

Too bad I didn't catch them...

When I had my 95 3500 seems some folks didn't want it parked in "their" parking spot here at school so they took it upon themselves to deter me from parking there. They egged my truck on numerous occasions, threw trash in the bag, sratched it, parked so close I couldn't even open my doors (so I know they couldn't have gotten out without hitting mine). Security finally did something after I demanded to speak with the head officer.

Now that I have my new truck the cool thing to do seems to be to throw trash in the bed.

Some people have no respect.

I'd LOVE to catch someone in the act some day. I'd make sure they never vandalized another vehicle again

Yeah, I've had my truck keyed by people who're jealous, think it's some polluting gas-guzzler, I just drive it without actually using it for what it's built for, etc.

I agree, I would love to catch someone in the act just once... These trucks seem to be targets.

I got an estimate this evening of $752.00 to repair the tailgate. I have the spray in bedliner over the top and one of the dents is there so they have to strip that of and reshoot it too. I guess thats why we have insurance. $50 deductible so I am not out much.

I've got a $50 deductible for comprehensive and $500 for collision. It was only a few bucks more every six months to go with the $50. I always like keeping a low comprehensive.
