Does anyone else have this problem? I have a LG Dare that connects to the u connect system and does everything it should except alert me of an incoming call. The radio will just shut off and there will be someone there, very annoying. It is listed on the U connect site as a compatible phone but as stated will not ring in as an incoming call. Anyone have this problem?

 

You have to check your phone settings. In my Motorola its an option for handsfree operation to auto answer. You have to have that turned off or even if you have an earpiece plugged in it will answer without you doing anything..

 

I have an LG Voyager and it won't function properly with the Uconnect because of the bluetooth version on the phone. If I try to pair the phone then the system will tell me "phone pairing failed". For some weird reason though, the pairing will still go through because if I turn the phone off while I have the truck on/running and then turn the phone back on, it will connect. Problem is, you have to do this every single time you turn the truck back on.

My old phone which was the LG VX9800 or something like that, worked fine and I never had a problem with it pairing. Next I phone I get I'm going to make sure it works properly as I hate not having this system work.
