Looks like a minivan to me. As previously posted, the extra part behind the 2nd. row is just too much. Why do you need MORE storage in a truck that size?

I hate to say what I would drive rather than that..........
It starts with an F.

I saw a Mega Cab today. Bright red 4x4 2500 with the Cummins. Good looking truck and the cab is HUGE.

That dude is definetly smoking dope. I ordered my Mega Cab the other day with all the bells and whistles and I paid invoice minus rebates. Which I may add was way below $50,000.

I think the truck looks awsome, and being a car guy I don't need a long bed. It is stil gonna be cheaper to have my truck stretched, I will end up with 4 door and quad cab.

Have they done away with the fold flat floor since the seat rears fold down?
I can't get used to that wood trim on the dash, angle seems all wrong, it's ok in the doors though.

Is that a power rear slider button I see on the maroon one, between the heated seat controls? That's an option I'd like to have!

Yes, the power sliding rear window is an option on SLT's and standard on the Laramie. I actually chose the solid window with defroster for my Mega Cab and got a credit for the slider. I've never used the slider window in any of my trucks but I've had fogged windows plenty of times.

I had a minute to kill in Wilkesboro today so I dropped in and had a salesman show me the highlights. The back seat leg-room is humongus, the transmission-driveshaft tunnel has been eliminated in back and the rear 60/40 bench seat does tilt, both sides. Two things I learned, there are heat and A/C vents for the rear passengers (underneath the front center armrest) and the storage room behind the rear seats is enough for a folded baby stroller to stand on it’s end. Since the headliner is contoured to give more room next to the rear glass, a bag of golf clubs could just about stand upright behind the rear seat.

....cause some of us don't want a "show pony" truck, but a tool to pull the toys.

is it me or do the seats look really flat and uncomfortable? never sat in them. it's on my to do list to get a mega cab as i don't need a long bed and i need more cab space. i'd rather wait until they're out for a year or two to see what kind of problems there are associated with the new trucks. how are the new 6 speeds holding up so far?

my thinking is that, yes, it's an ugly truck but that would slip my mind when i was reminded of the function of just how huge the interior is! and it's the same wheelbase as my x-cab long bed so as far as driving goes it's not gi-normous like the supercrappy crew cabs.

I don't know how many of you guys have seen the INTERIOR of these ugly ovrsized Durangos, but if you think the outside is bad, the inside is some ungodly square, cheap wooded disaster. Gee, can't see the Mercedes influence anywhere................looks like GM and FORD are going to get some sales out of this.......

I just checked out an 06 dually non mega cab and a megacab that was right beside it. The wood grain is an insult and I would probably pull it off and paint it to color match the truck or go with the silver like my 04 has.

The space in the cab is what sells it for me. I have some big friends and we travel long distances and this will work for me when its available in a long bed dually. I have no concerns about the length of the truck.
I will still get a 6 spd.
I sat in both trucks and found the rear seats in the mega to be much nicer then the rears in the regular quad cab. They both had the same interior as the one in the picture shown here. That design or look is somewhat questionable to me...I want to see one in leather and I sure hope they did the rear seats in leather too.
