TrXus MT Tires

I just put a set of 33 x 12.50R17 on the 3500, man am I impressed. They are E-rated, work like magic on the snow and ice, and have excellent road manners. I mean you are going to hear them more then the stock rugged trails, but nothing that the stereo can't take care of anyway. Time will tell how they hold up over the long haul, but having put 4000km on them in less then a week, I have to say they were a great choice. The only downside to them is they are a heavy tire, therefore, make sure you have the shop that installs them have somebody on the task who knows what they are doing, to get them ballanced correctly.

I'm glad you like your tires. I just put on some Copper STT's in a 35/12.5/17. They are actually closer to a 34" but fit perfect with no rub. I had the Cooper ST's but these new ones have a much stiffer sidewall. Still a D rated but much stronger tire. They look great. Take it easy.

I will post some pics when I find the dam camera. I will also take a picture of the plastic piece that runs underneath the front bumper. I ran into a full roll of weeping tile at 120kph, ripped the dam plastic peice on my bumper in half. I guess I am lucky thats all that happened.

i have the trxus mt in a 35x12.50, 10 ply,on a 17x9 black steel wheel, the only tires i've found that will handle a load, a 26,000lb loaded gooseneck to be exact, but they wear quick if you dont keep at least 65 psi in them, i have 30,000mi on my set and im about to put them back on for this winter, maybe get 20,000 more out of them, and by the way, DO NOT try to tow anything with a bfg mud terrain, i left a loaded trailer hooked up over night and 3 of them got bubbles in the sidewalls, they were not for a heavy truck, anyway, you should like the trxus m/t's...

How much did it run ya a tire? I'm looking for something that's beefy and mean looking but will handle the weight of the truck and anything else.

ya iam currious to because i always run a mud tire year around because of the country i live in and so far with my toyo m55s i hve had great luck with them standing up to lots of use and heavy towing on and off road. might be a good tire to try a set of when the m55s are done for in another year.

I spent $300 a tire Canadian, it should be much cheaper to pick up in the states. I just got back from another 1200km run on Fri/Sat so we will sure be able to see how they hold up on the Highway soon enough. I still can't find the darn camera, I will use a friends on Sunday and post them up.

try 4wheel parts for the best price on those tires, my buddy just bought a set of the 35's 2 weeks ago for $220 a piece shipped, and they usually have stuff in stock 1800-284-9426, i can do nothing but praise these tires, my hopes are to run them in a dual setup on my 06 dually i got last week, should look mean...
