Trailer light issue

Hey guys,
Have a 2006 Ram 3500 Diesel with a couple of strange trailer light issues.
Running lights work on both sides. Brake light and blinker only work on left side. I checked voltage at the trailer connector (4-way) I am getting very low voltage (2 amps) for the right blinker. I get cross over voltage from the left blinker wire to the right blinker wire?? Not sure if this goes to the control module ord what? Any ideas would be great.

The TIPM controls power to the trailer jack. As I understand it, if it sees current over limit, it sets a DTC and has to be reset. It can only be reset a few times before it has to be replaced.

There is a TSB to reflash to raise the current setting and prevent it for
setting the DTC.

Did you find a solution for this? I just replaced the right lamp on my trailer only to discover it's the truck. Running lights work on right side, but no turn/brake. It seems more than coincidence that yours and mine both failed on the same side, although I guess that's 50/50 chance. It seems unlikely to me that the solution is taking it to the dealer for the flash, but curious if you've found that to work, or was it something else?

Thanks!

I lost all my running light on the trailer.
The fifth wheel plug has much more juice going to it than the factory bumper plug...and it's run off it?
I also checked the fuses I think go to them, and all are good.
One of the contacts in the bumper 7 pin has juice, but the corresponding one for the 5er in the bed doesn't...
