Tow Hooks
Okay you guys stuck the little darlin today and no tow hooks good thing I was able to get it out from the back. I noticed theres not a good place to hookup on the front, so how much are they and how hard are they to put on?
They are not too hard to install. Helps if you have a friend and a floor jack to hold the bumper when ya remove it. I did notice that if you grind a small end section off the hooks they install much eaiser. Took about 1 1/2 hrs. alone.
It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

There have been numerous threads on front tow hooks over the last year or so. I installed the dealer front hooks by myself. There is no need to remove the front bumper or to use additional support. A very easy and quick job. It helps to have an extension for the Torx head bolts. One top bolt each side is a bit of a pain to get in the hole because the rad has to be moved out of the way rather forcibly. Just follow the instructions carefully.
Have used the front hooks for stumping and just two weeks ago got stuck in deep, wet mud (red gumbo) and got towed out by a D8 using the front hooks.
