Tires Aaaarrggg!!!
Ok guys I have poured over all the threads I can find and every tire website in the world. Here is my issue.
I am lifting my 06 MegaCab with a 4.5 inch revtek axle forward kit. I have planned on running 37 inch tires on my existing 17 inch XD Hoss with 5.71 backspacing.
The tires I had planned on buying (Super Swamper Vortrac) are on 6 month backorder. So I am back to the drawing board as I cannot find another 37 inch e load 17 inch rim tire. I am looking to stay away from Mud Tires, but hopefully with all of your great advice maybe I am missing something.
I no longer tow heavy. Maybe 7-8K pounds very occasionally. Could I run a D load tire and not wear it out to fast or feel squisy when driving.
The other alternative is going to a 20 inch wheel and tires. Then I have more options but that will cost me about 600-700 more assuming I can sell my current wheels for around $400.
I appreciate everyone help and I know TIRES are a huge deal on this site, but I am at my wits end on what to do.

Ask for Wade.
Thats Interco Headquarters. Its about 10 miles from my house. They may have some in the warehouse they can ship out to you. They also have cosmetic blems that are discounted heavy. Might be worth the call.
