Tightening Passside Upper Control Arm Bolt

I was wondering how you guys have gone about being able to tighten the pass side upper control arm bolt after you cut the stock bolt out and replace it with a new bolt when adding a lift. I know mine is not as tight as it needs to be. Short of removeing the whole exhaust have any of you been able to finese your way in there somehow to get the bolt and nut nice and tight? If so how?

Box end wrench and sledgehammer? The bolt runs through, tighten it from the accessible side, brace a wrench on the other side.

So you just get the open end and hit it up into the hole where the nut is and spin the other side with the bolt until it was tight?

How hard was it to get the wrench to stay on and not fall off once you had pressure on it?
