Test Drive in Abilene, TX

First off, anyone here from or live near Abilene? I just test drove an 08 4x4 2500 Mega Laramie today. I was very impressed. And beleive it or not, I was not pressed into buying a truck! I was actually surprised by the knowledge of the salesman. Anyway, this was a beautiful truck that had plenty of power and very comfortable. I think the e-brake was really cool and the trans shifted better than mine on my 02 1500 quad cab. I know when I get back from the desert after this next deployment, I'll be buying a new diesel mega cab. I don't think I want/can't wait for the 2010 HD.

Yeah I know about the rumours. If I were to wait, it would be for the new HD Crew Cab. Personally, I think the Mega Cab should've been shortened 6" and the bed gain 6", but that would require a new bed.

It looks like Dodge is getting a true crew cab, slightly bigger than the qaud and slightly smaller than the mega.

That is only for the half tons. 3/4 and 1 tons will remain the same.
