The wife and I are still looking. could not find swb and 6 speed together in a 2500 4x4.

after loading the boats and gear for all on the river rafting trips, I am looking at LWB now. I really hope we can find one close to us...

ANY regrets on the LWB truck??

ever noticed how the online inventory is not what they have....looks like we have found 2 to choose from......we shall see.... ;D ;D

 

The only disadvantage I could think of with the LWB would be maneuvering it in tight spaces. Sometimes it's bad enough in my SWB. At first I was going to get the Reg Cab/Long Bed, but I decided that the Quad Cab/Short Bed would be more practical for myself.

However, it is nice to be able to put a full 8 foot sheet of plywood flat in the bed with the tailgate up.

What I've found about the online inventory not being correct is that for current year vehicle, they get invoiced and added to the site within a couple days from it being built (KZ status). For vehicle that were already sold, it seems to take up to a week for the paper work to get processed by Dodge to get it off the Dealer Inventory list. So I guess your best bet in finding a truck is calling to get a set of eye ***** on it make sure it's there.

 

I got a QC LWB 4x4 and absolutely love it. I think it maneuvers as well as or better than my 98.5 quad cab SWB. I'd say go for it!

mazeeff - thanks for the info. However, I have this thing about driving, crawling under and inspecting the truck before I buy it. I hope to find one pretty close. Would like to get it done asap. I have to go to Japan in 2 weeks and I think the inventory will continue to drop.
