Question Steering stabilizer shocks?

Just bought a salvage title 2007 Dodge Quad 4x4 6.7
question for those who can help me.

The pictures shows the steering stabilizer bar and shocks. Looks like the tow company put their hook on it and bent it and broke the shock. I know nothing about the truck looks like the steering stabilizer, shocks, are after market as well as the cover for what I think is the transfer case? Welcome comments and insight.

Besides the obvious damage, the undercarrage looks pretty clean.

But to answer your question, yes. That is a aftermarket setup with the shock. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have the alignment checked after everything is replaced.

The cover you are looking at is a Mag HyTec front differential cover, pretty spendy units.

Just curious, what happened to the truck for it to have a salvaged title?

The truck had body damage on all of drivers side appears it was flipped on its side. Need to repair or replace Front fender, driver and passenger doors and truck bed. Other than that the undercarriage is like new ,body is is not tweeked. Only has 22,000 miles on it. Was wanting to know what brand of steering stabilizer this is.

It is a bilstein. I just replaced my front steering stabilizer shock with one. Much better than stock.

The way that thing was bent I'd go ahead and replace both linkages. www.moparsupercenter.com has the best prices by far on those. The '08 and newer upgrade changed the linkage style from a "Y" to a "T". More like the old 4x4 Chevys used to have. Local dealership quoted me 800 bones for the new setup so I purchased everything from said website for $400. Rather massive compared to the old stuff.
