squeak & sagging on right front

Last week I noticed a "squeak" on front end while turning. I looked at it today, the squeak is there, but noticed it is low on right side. It squeak like a old Ford Crown Vic. The truck is
1&1/2" lower on the right side than the left. Any ideas? New springs? I want the front up more, can I get taller springs? Remember I'm 2wd.

Your truck is lower on one side than the other, sounds like a spring has given out, but that would be a first for me. You can raise the front of the truck with a leveling kit, but you need to get to the root cause of the sagging issue first.

I looked at everything on the front end, all looks good. Truck has 174xxx miles, it had 163xxx when I got it last Nov. The dealer replaced the lower ball joints and sway bar links. Only thing I see is it's one and a half inches lower on the right side. Maybe the spring is failing and that is what is causing the squeak? If you look at the front, you can the difference.

There is a rubber isolator between the frame and the spring, it may have deteriorated and now there is metal to metal contact causing the squeak.

I think I'm going to buy some new, longer springs and then take to my buddy at the front end shop and see what he thinks. You may be right on about the isolator thing. But is the one from the factory one and a half inches?

After some research, I found I can only go about 2" before I will have alignment issues due to lower control arms. Am I correct in this? I'm not wanting to change that much stuff out, atleast not right now.

I haven't done it myself, but it is my understanding you can go up to 2.5 inches on the front and not have to do any alignment. I may be wrong about this, but I've read a lot of posts from those that have and not had any alignment issues. Eventually, I want to put a leveling kit on my truck, probably 2 - 2.5 inches, just enough to take some of the rake out of it.

I found some "supercoils" @ the site mentioned in another post. They are higher spring rate and raise 1/2". I may get those, and a 2" level kit and give it hell.
