Linex is well worth it. I work in the oilfield and drag stuff in and out of the back of my truck. I have a metal slide in bed over my spray in but the tailgate is just sprayed. I drag tools that weigh up to 400 lbs on it and it hasn't chipped at all. Have them spray a little thicker on the tailgate for extra protection. Also get over the rail too. Over the rail looks really good. I paid 495 counting over the rail and tax. It is WELL worth it.

I have Line-x on my truck since 04 and it still looks new. I will have Line-x again on my next new truck.

I vote for Line-X. But if the cheap stuff doesn't hold up you could just scrape it out and start over.

First Line-X here, two years old and not a nick. Unless you stab the brakes things just don't slide around at all.

On my second truck with Line-X. The Line-X was more reliable than my 6.0L Powerstroke . Go for the Line-X.

Another great thing about Line X is that it is warranteed nation wide, not just through the dealer that sprayed it like most other spray ins. Nice to have if you ever move. They enter your VIN into a data base and youre covered no matter where you go.

Thanks for the input guys, I know Line X is good.....really good. I went to the Ziebart website and they advertise as using Rhino liners. My neighbor just got a Ziebart put in his new Cummins 2500 2 days ago. I haven't seen it yet but he told me that Ziebart told him they no longer use Rhino because of the very problems you all mentioned. They now use their own proprietary product. Hmmmm.

Sorry for the late response on this Mopar, been busy lately. They slapped a Rhino Linings Emblem at the front of the bed, so I'm assuming it was genuine!

Okay, I wanted to post the pictures of my Xtreme Liner. Granted I haven't had a chance to really rough it up yet, but it seems like it will be very durable.

I apologize for the poor picture quality... Gonna be cloudy for days

In this one I have the rockers and the fender flares done... The dang clouds made it not show up very well.

Here's a couple closer-up pictures:

Looks good! I like the texture - even and not too rough. I checked out my neighbours Ziebart liner and it looks thin (less than 1/8") and the texture is not so good looking. It has round globs everywhere about 1/4" diameter. I didn't like it. OK Ziebart is out!!

I have a pro-liner. I would call it a step above line-x IMHO, but you pay a premium for it. I have had line-x in the past and it was a great liner but the pro-liner just looks better I think. I haul a lot of fugly stuff in the bed of my ram and haven't torn mine up yet. If your in Alabama I have a relative who does the pro-liner (only reason I initially tried it) who is a good guy, does good work, and stands behind it I can hook you up with him.

I was pleased w/ the texture as well. It's very much like Line-X. I didn't want anything too rough. No gobs either
