SO Auto Mpg

[undecided] What short of mileage are you getting out of your SO Automatics. Right now 4500 miles on the truck I am getting 12.6 mpg on winter blend fuel. This is mainly around town.
Now all you lucky fellows with your standard gear box's there are many threads with your numbers so we know you are getting great mileage.
Re:SO Auto Mpg

About 15.5 MPG around town running empty on winter blend and in the negatives temperature wise. With the plow blade and pushing snow I'm getting 13 MPG. (to the US Gallon)

Re:SO Auto Mpg

I'm getting around around 16 or so with 90% intown with a lot of stop and go. Goes up to about 19 or so on the highway. I've only got 2800 miles on it. What's a snow plow? It was almost 80 degrees today :P

Re:SO Auto Mpg

Hey new kid on the block here. I been driving my 2500 short bed 47re 3.73 for a month now. I can only tell you what computer is telling me cause the wife fills big bertha up for me. Diesel is cheaper in her neck of the woods. Around our home its 1.98/gallon. I am getting 15.5 mpgs and hoping it goes up! I am in love with big bertha and can't wait to buy some goodies for her!

Re:SO Auto Mpg

Pen and paper (and calculator) says 12-13 mpg with 315s and 4.10 gears, taking the odo. error of 8.02% in account. This is everyday driving, up and down the hills in Austin and towing a 3500 lb bass boat two days a week and a heavy foot. ;D
