Has anyone in San Jose, CA found a good place to get a smog test done at?

Did you have your K01 recall done?

The dealer installed it but either the reflash or tech error fried my ECM. Dealer bought me another one. I next had to drive it for another 200 miles. Dealer smogged it for me. I just got a heart transplant.

The smog certificate has the proper vin# but it says" 6.7 auto". Mines a 5.9 manual. DMV's so goofed up.

 

I just had my truck smog-checked at Sunnyvale Discount Smog... it was quick and painless. $40 out the door. The owner's name is Francis. Worth the short drive to Sunnyvale !!

When you guys had your trucks smogged did the tech even plug anything into your computers?

 

thank god I live in a free state no smog test

 

Yeah, he plugged into the OBD II port... and looked at the tailpipe to see if my truck was makin' smoke (it wasn't).
