Sliding Window Squeak

The sliding rear window in my truck rattles and squeaks all the time.

Everytime it thinks there is a bump in the road it starts rattling and squeaking. (which is all the time)

I've messed with it some to try and get it to stop, but it does not look like theres much to do.

Anyone ever had this happen in there truck?

Help me out please.

Ya my truck does it all the time too, I feel your pain. It has to be the most annoying sound in the world. If you have the power sliding window like mine if you just bump the switch so the window is still sealed but just a touch from all the way closed it will not squeek. Hope that helps

same here.....I'm gonna try to tear some material off of a sponge and wedge it between the window and the frame. Of course the rough roads around here don't help it.

My buddies 04 and my 06 squeaks all the time. His eventually got bad enough we had to leave it cracked open all the time with card board shoved into it in order to make it stop squeaking. So far in the mega cab I open and reclose and the squeak goes away.

Looks like that's for the power sliders.

Mine is manual. I'm going to take it to the ******* and see what they will do. It's really annoying.

Try some silicone grease on the tracks and gaskets.

I used a strip of Velcro (the softer stuff), and put it on the inside of the slider glass along the edge, opposite of the latch. It stopped the annoying squeak for me.
