I can see how this would be a concern, although I've never had a problem with it trying to drain into the closed door. I usually try to knock the snow off before jumping in, so maybe that's why I've never had a problem with it. I guess if you had tons of snow on your feet and just jumped in it could be a problem...but who really does that anyway (and it would have to be a TON of snow).

They also have pockets or areas designed to hold the water away from your feet. I think that holds most of the water until you sweep/push it over the door sill (with door open of course! ).

Thumbs up Rubber Floors!

My buddy's got an '07 ST coming from Dave Smith and he's got the rubber floors! What an innovation!

it's a very small amount of water too...I don't kick my feet off as good as I should but that is why I bought these sweet liners. draining has not been an issue so far

I have the Dodge ones... they are disappointing in the way they stain, how small they are in relation to the floor they protect, and then of course their high price... bummer... I bought the wrong ones... argh!

Does anyone have a pic of the Weathertech passenger side front mats? I'm wanting to know how well they cover the side of the transmission tunnel. I'm ready to buy some new mats.

Thanks!

I don't have a pic, but they cover that area better than any other floor mat on the market.

Got the Dodge ones, as well. Like someone else said, the staining is disappointing and the size for the front mats could be larger. I'm happy with them, though.

Good question! I never thought about it but have never had a problem with the weathertechs. We had a pretty crazy winter last year so lots of mud and snow got tracked in. When I pulled out the weathertechs to wash them a few weeks ago, I was amazed how clean my floor looked. It was like it just got detailed. Not a spot anywhere.

I never understood that either. Every truck I've ever had except two have all just been rubber mat, and the two carpeted ones I ended up tearing the carpet out. Up here in the land of near perpetual snow, carpet just turns into a soggy mess.

This truck, I searched for a long time to find one that didn't have carpet. It's even harder to find one without power window or power door locks. Never did manage to.
