Anybody tried a LED bulb in the reverse lamp socket?
Any brighter?

I installed CREE LED's with projector housings. They are awesome! It's like have headlights on the back.

 

I have them in my old 1st gen. LOVE THEM. SUPER BRIGHT WHITE / BLUISH Light. Makes backing up in the dark so much better than it used to be.


Here's the ones I bought, although I doubt they'll fit in your truck due to the different light socket configuration. I'm sure you can find yours, though.





I also inserted these into my rear bumper

Try Super Bright Leds web site I used their backup lite and it was so much brighter then OEM........... also fit right into the socket.
