Recon XZT or mechanical guages
Recon XZT or mechanical guages
Was looking at the Quadzilla Recon XZT monitoring system, but was wondering if mechanical gauges are better? All I am interested in is Fuel pressure and pyrometer.
I like the clean installation of the Recon. I don't want the A-pillar pod system cause I use my grab handle
. I would do the column mount but am worried about covering my gauges in the cluster.
Thanks for any responses...

Have the Recon for 2 yrs now.
Built a 'sun shade' from some thin aluminum flashing & used double back tape to fasten it ...no more sun glare problem
Not certain if a fuel pressure add-on is avaliable for Recon
It does switch to & Flash any parameter that exceed the max reading that you set
Well worth the $$$ I spent
JMHO

I have the recon as well, and like it except for it is hard to see in the sun.
I'm not a fan of the quadzilla products, as I had to send my recon back because it stopped working after 2 weeks (they sent me a new one), and I had a XZT tow module that I sent back 3 times, they never could get the XZT to work right.
