That's only for 2nd gens. I had my buddy who used to do the installs at the dealership help me with mine. Wasn't too bad, but the plastic inserts are a bit of a pain.

I like the look of the Recon's but now i'm puzzled with how the light sockets are for the new lenses. I take it you can't just use the stock sockets with amber colored bulbs?

I figured I'd drop in a pick of my clear lens/chrome base Recons since I haven't seen a set of them yet. They've been on for about six months with no problems.

no the harness is not there. there is however the plug for the factory harness behind the passenger side A-Pillar. I tapped into that plug and made my own harness with non insulated connectors and heat shrink. just remove the plugs that come from RECON and hard wire your fabbed harness. Good to go and no problems in over 2 years.

DON'T FORGET TO ADD A BIT OF SILICONE TO ALL HOLES WHEN INSTALLING THE LIGHTS TO PREVENT LEAKAGE!

Good tips.

I used a thin bead of marine grade clear silicon on my install, and never had any leaks.

Also, as stated above, be sure to cut off the Recon connectors and cut off the factory connectors and use good quality connectors. After I installed my own connects, I never had any issues.

The RECON connectors, of course, are garbage.

If you pull off the passenger side pillar you will see the connector.I have the clear/chrome too, dont see them that often. I dont know if its been posted or not but if you put in 4x4 in as the promotional code it will save ya some $.
