Question on Bilsteins...

I bought a set of Bilsteins (yellow/blue) from 4 Wheel Parts. I got the rears installed last night. They went in okay, but upon doing some research this morning, I discovered that they sold me the part number BE5-C605-H0. I found this morning that this appears to be the part for the 2WD, not the 4WD. My truck is stock (I have no plans to modify this).

I'm just wondering what the implications are (the proper part is the BE5-C614-H0, per Bilstein's website).

Any thoughts?

I would contact 4 Wheel Parts and tell them about the mistake and what they suggest.
I would also check the front number to make sure they didnt sell you the wrongs ones for those as well.

Just thought I'd post an update. I spoke to 4 Wheel Parts yesterday. They talked to Bilstein and were told that the only difference between the 2WD part (C605) and the 4WD part (C614) is the part number. When 4 Wheel Parts asked why they did this, Bilstein stated that they just like to have separate part numbers for the two truck versions (makes no sense to me).

I thought they might just be different lengths. However, I did notice that when I installed them, they only extended about 1/2 inch to meet up with the mount holes (from their strapped positions). They seem to be working fine.

Anyway, on the blue/yellow shocks, no difference.

After some of the disparaging remarks about 4WheelParts in other posts, I would confirm the 4WheelParts information with Bilstein. Just me being a little paranoid, perhaps...?
