priced Right?

Went and looked at an 05' yesterday with my wife. Guy followed me around like glue, nice guy actually. I said the normal, employee pricing thing is going on right? Dealer, " yep, get em while you can", me, " How much off of MSRP". Dealer, " up to 10,000"

so I went to a window sticker and read $ 41,645.00 and said to the guy, so does that make this thing 31,645.00 and he said Not necessarily, yada yada yada, basically he told me you get it for about 32,000$ and change + tax.

IT was a 2500SLT Quad Cab short box, with bighorn edition(towhooks, receiver, body molding, etc)cummins+auto for MSRP41,645 and could buy it for 32K and change, does that seem right to everyone?

Thanks

Trout

trout, yea, that is right about where they should be, the 04 I bought last year was $41,3xx bought it for $32500 have them show you invoice, employee price will be on there, start with that & deduct rebates, should be 9-10K off of sticker, also if it doesn't have some things you want, (like different wheels or folding trailer mirrors, or fender liners, mudflaps) ask them to swap them out, they usually will to make the deal happen.

About ten thousand off invoice sounds like you all made of much better than I did when I bought my 05. The retail on my 2500 laramie fully loaded quad cab SWB was $43 thousand and some change and I got it for $37,000 and had them throw in a drop in bedliner with the deal. Sounds like your getting a great deal compared to what I got.

The price wars are over the "05's" when the "06's" are coming out. You got an extra year of use. You did okay. Next time only pay FACTORY invoice or less.

seems like a good deal to me.. I got mine for 33.5k out the door, with a 46k markup sticker price originally, but I know the fleet sales manager at my dealer, personally, so he got me a screamin deal IMHO.

What are you doing in here asking ? YOu know that is a good price. The FORD and Chebby guys would LOVE to get 10K off the price of their trucks. Get out there with your check book and go buy the darn thing. And, oh yeah, might as well keep the check book out because we WILL convince you that it is your civic duty to BOMB that baby !!!

thanks for the reply's. The wife and I decided that we were going to wait and see what 2006 has to offer. Just makes more sense for us financially and my truck will go another year.

Regardless of this Employee deal or not, it seems that you can get these trucks for 9K off sticker anytime of the year is you really deal...........is that the consensus?

I kinda wnat a six speed and the mega cab looks neat, will have to wait to next summer/spring for the factory deals im sure, but you know what they says about those who wait.

Thanks
Trout
