Can any of you tell me where is a easy ignition "on" power source? I was trying to follow the wires to the cig. lighter, but it is buried! Or is there an easier place to tap in? Thanks

What are you trying to power?

 

A switch that will allow me to fill my fuel tank from my bed toolbox/fuel tank while driving down the road. I am worried that my wife might leave it on while not attending the rig and I don't want a fuel spill. Was just hoping to only have power with the engine running/key on.

 

what about the stock fule pump power wire, or triger a relay from the stock fuel pump wire to run your aux. pump?

 

Any wire that is pink with a yellow tracer. There is a fat one under the steering column in the huge bundle of wires. This is on an 05 but probably the same. I would still only use that to power a relay and of course have a fuse somewhere in there.

 

On my 06 the pink/yellow tracer wire is in the wire bundle just above and to the left of where your left foot rests when driving.
