To order a 3500 srw WITHOUT the cab lights?

 

nope...law is trucks over a certain gvw must have clearance lights.

 

Actually I think its vehicles over a certain width (80" ?) require clearance lights. The duallys require it but they just make it standard all 3500s.

 

I wondered about the same thing when I ordered my truck. I found it is impossible to delete the cab marker lights on the 3500s. I was not real crazy about them due to some of the posts I have seen in regards to them being the source of water leaks on the Gen 2s. I can't recall seeing any problems with them leaking on the Gen 3s. They do grow on you and I now think they are kinda cool.
