Broncohound, hey the steps were just plain black tube steps that I welded some thin carbon steel diamond plate to. The coating is just do-it-yourself Herculiner. I'm like you, not really a fan of "running boards" but I wanted something to protect the rockers and to keep mud from getting in and under the doors.

about right that i would like something and it be custom work...lol...thanks for letting me know, it looks terrific. Definately different than every other running board i have ever seen and I dig the look. I might just have to fab something up similar. Thanks again!

i dont have a lift yet i got a leveling kit and ive been trying to get it installed for the past year . they rub a little on the inner fender when i make a sharp right turn
