Does the Smarty Jr effect the reading, plus or minus, of the overhead temp/mileage gauge. The reason I ask, is that when I was re-programming my truck, after a smog test, I noticed that the overhead reading was blank, except for a straight line. After the programming the readings returned to normal. Thanks John

 

No, it doesn't change any of the readings. But the overhead is fed by the ECU. During reprogramming, it will not get any info, just like the dash.
