It's actually level, this pic gives it the illusion of having rake. I think it's due to the street going slightly down hill vs my yard.

going to do it myself. Have been studying it for a while and there are a couple options on where to slice the frame. I might have a shop here in town just do the frame extension (they do big rigs and such). there is a guy here in town that did his own and has $1600 invested (still needs paint on the bed) and he did a killer job.

That sounds like it'll be the better way to go for you. Good luck with it and I can't wait to see it when its done.

How do you like the set up. I am thinking of going the same route. Any driveline vibration? Ride quality? Thanks.

I love the looks, to me it's the perfect height. I do have some minor vibration at around 70mph which I think is due to the carrier bearing. I used the cb spacer that superlift sent and I've even shimmed it up and down but still can't seem to get rid of the vib. Me and a friend installed it one weekend and it wasn't too bad. We ran into issues like the pitman arm removal & passenger side upper rear arm bolt.

Overall the ride is somewhat firmer but good. I got the Bilstein 5100s with mine. I would recommend a wheel with around 6" backspacing because mine are between 4.5 & 5 and I rub at full lock.

My truck is an auto with 3.73 rear gears, with the 37s it is quite noticable but not too bad. I still pull a car hauler trailer with car, approx 6-7k and it doesn't have any problems pulling the hills around here with ease. Some of the hills the semis are crawling up and I can hold the speed limit easily towing. The speedo is off somewhat but you get used to it, at indicated 62 I'm really doing 70.

Hope this helps you out. I purchased my lift, wheels, & tires through 4wheelparts all at the same time. They price matched other sites prices on the tires and I can't think of anything bad to say about them.

Thanks Ran, I think I will be ok for driveline vib since I just have a quadcab. I also have a hook up at 4 wheel parts also. Thanks again for the info.
