Find a rail #....... my truck has shipped and I have a Vin #.... Now what...?

P.S. I called that 800 # and spoke with the folks... They told me they had no way of telling me what train my truck was on....?

 

Somehow they can tell. My dealer called me this morning to say that mine left St. Louis at 8:59pm last night headed for Denver. He also called me when it entered the US and was at Hearne, TX. Why they route from southern TX to St. Louis I don't know ... guess my 3500 dually was lonesome for some 2500s.

Yep, just get the railcar # and you are all set. The reason the truck left Texas and went to St. Louis is because the UP doesn't have a rail line that runs from Texas in a NorthWestardly direction.

MegaRam wait awhile for the train to move. Encantada is the location but a lot of railroad locations you can't find on the map. You can check it as many times as you want night and day and watch it move. If you go through the UP's web site it will explain most of the things except the numbers.

I am in Portland Maine.......
My dealer told me what she could see was the truck was loaded on a rail May 7th and was in Port Vera Cruz..... Last anyone knew...LOL

 

Well if you're in Maine it certainly isn't there yet. I can't find a Vera Cruz or Encantada in Mexico so just keep an eye on it until a name shows up that you recognize.
