Personally, I think it looks pretty good, looks like those guys are doing some nice work. Nate....very nice Taco. Looks like something you can tow out on a trailer and not worry about bringing it home in a box. I'd feel no shame in running the snot out of it...

As for those of you who claim you can do better for less $$, step on up

I'm a OK fabracator and know I could build something just as good but better looking for alot less.

Seriously take away the fancy lights and skid plate and it looks very basic and not so good looking. I wouldnt have a problem spending that kind of money on a bumper that had more time and style put into it

Looks like some guy like myself with a bender decided to start bending tube and selling bumpers....that all.

For $1,600 I was expecting something really trick

Great product though and I hope your buddy makes it

I live in the same neck of the woods as you but have not seen any bad s looking 03's with anything fabricated

Hey I told you that if you and had the time you could build a really nice tire gate. It would be a great beginner project just as long as you had the spindle thingy. It isnt like your gonna mess up your truck since its bolt on.

Bob you havent seen me because I havent changed my city profile. I'm in the beautiful nor cal foothills.

I buy metal tube about evey 2 months or so and yeah its expensive but there looks to be about $90-120 in tube there.

I dont have a real need for a pre-runner bumper on my tow rig because I'm too busy trying to stuff a LS1 into my 79 Toyota rockcrawler, but if I did I know I would of made it look KILLER.

Like I said its nice but for the price I would expect something alot more trick, and think that most os us could do it better and cheaper if we had the time to build it.

I talked to my buddy again and he said that just the bumper with light tabs, mig welded, with no powder coating and no lights will run you $750. I don't know if that is any better on price let me know some feedback.

once you pay for powder coating, you're close to the sale price of the road armor base winch bumper. i guess it would come down to personal preference.

True, but you're talking two very different styles of bumper built for different purposes.

imo this bumper might look a little off on a ctd... unless you had some glassworks fenders! that would look awesome.

went to website and saw all 4 glassworks fenders could be had for about $1100. suddenly i'm not so concerned about getting dents and dings in my factory fenders/bedside panels!

If it was 750 powdercoated that for sure would be doable, much harder decsion not being powdercoated since rattle can paint doesnt usually look as good or stand up to abuse as well.
