Odd ABS and P-brake light problem

So my truck has decided to flash the ABS and P-brake lights in unison at me. Very sporadic, no ryme or reason to it, never stay on for more than a second. No codes. Any ideas please?

Thanks

Maybe check your abs sensors. Must be something loose getting aroused by vibration.

Update.....

Still cant figure out why the truck has this condition, still no codes, and very random, but more frequent now. Also in the last week while cruising at 55 the speedo would drop to 20 mph or so and then back up to actual cruising speed, did it again 2 days later while cruising at 50, no change in engine rpm when this happens either.

Between the ongoing engine knock, poor mileage/performance/smoke problem that nobody can seem to fix, the front axle needing a complete rebuild and now this electronic issue, this truck is really getting on my last nerve. It's only 3 years old with 63000 miles. Sorry for the rant folks

It is possible your ecm or instrument cluster is malfunctioning. Sorry for your troubles.

Check the sensor on top of the rear diff. Some times the wires going into the sensor can break and cause an intermittant issues as you describe.

I had the same issue with my 1999. It was the speed sensor located on top of the differential. Replaced it and that corrected the problem. Keith
