You can wrap a rubber band around it, but a lot of guys swap it out for our shifter switch

My BD shifter mounted switch rattles too, so it isn't just the Jacobs. I use the rubber band trick and it's quiet.

The panel is the stock one that the seat heater switches came with. I just centered a hole between the other switches to install the Jake switch. I know there are a variety of panels to fit the various switch combos bu don't know about your truck.

I came up with a nice clean solution to my problem! I purchased a switch from international, nice rocker switch says Engine Brake on it. They let me borrow the panel cutter to make a hole in my dash. I modifed the way a couple things fit and cut it in just to the left of my heater fan switch. Its a tight fit but it came out sweet. I ll post some pics of the instalation and the part numbers in a few days. Thanks for all the feed back!

panel

The panel is a factory part. You pull the dash bezel off and remove your 'cubby' and replace it with the panel with the electric heated seats switch (laramie) or the electric rear window switch (SLT option and up).

Takes about an hour to get the panel off the first time and then you can do it in 10 minutes. Depends on the type of console you have.
