Here is my issue / question. Im sure this has been addressed before, but here goes. My 03 doesnt smoke, and I would think it would. Even with the predator set on kill it maybe puffs once when I first floor it, but after that, nothing. Now, I am assuming that this is a fuel delivery issue, or lack thereof. I guess I am looking for others to offer their expieriences. I am planning on a fuel system upgrade, but not sure which way to go. FASS, Airdog, Glacier? Is there any advantage to one versus the other? Will it smoke with stock injectors? Im not necessarily looking for it to smoke, just surprised that it doesnt, maybe it shouldn't? Also, if anyone has anything used that they are looking to part with I would be interested. -Thanks

 

I've got a buddy that has an '03 with a Smarty and the Glacier fuel pump kit and his doesn't smoke near as much as mine. It might just be the '03. I'm guessing of course.

 

I cant see it being a difference in years makeing the difference unless the software or injectors was that much different. Guess I should get a fuel pressure gague and see whats going on before anything else.

 

Assuming your tranny is stock by your sig that is your problem. Your not putting enough power to the ground to load the engine and create smoke. I'd bet a decent TC and supporting tranny upgrades would give you more smoke than any thing else you could throw at the truck.
