Cool Need Your Input: Tires & Kore HP Kit

Hey Guys,

I'm having a tough time on a decision and need your opinions and/or input on what I should do...

So I ordered a new set of 285/75/17 Nitto Terra Grappler tires and a Kore HP Series kit (which comes with 4 bilstein shocks, new front coils, billet drop blocks and a mini leaf pack for the rear) on June 1st.

I already have the tires but Kore is SOOO SLOW, they shipped everything except the mini leafs which are on backorder for another THREE WEEKS! Which means that best case scenario I won't get the mini leafs until Mid-July but I should receive the coils, drop blocks, and new shocks tomorrow.

I was going to have the truck shop in town install everything so my question is should I just do the tires and what I have of the Kore kit now(because I am getting really ancy to get everything on) or wait another month to get the mini leafs in so I can do it all at once. It can't be too hard to install the mini leafs myself right? What would you do?

I would put the front on now (or when you get everything) and then do the mini poacks when they come in. I have the same kit without the mini's in the rear and everything is fine. I would also suggest longer control arms and an adjustable trackbar to make everything nice and centered.. IMO....

Huh, never really thought about that. How much does an adjustable track bar run?

The kit comes with billet drop blocks for the front so things don't shift, doesnt that accomplish the same thing as a control arm or track bar?

Also, I got an appointment to get the everything (minus the mini pack) installed Monday morning. The truck shop can't align the truck at their place so they take it somewhere else after they're finished and they charge $125 for an alignment alone. Just for S&G's I called a local dodge dealership and they only wanted $59.95 for an alignment.

I should just take it to the dodge dealership right? I mean an alignment is an alignment, doesn't really matter where its done correct?

the drop blocks are for the swaybar. longer control arms will push your axel foward to recenter it after raising the front. the adjustable trac bar will allow you to center your axel left and right. These are not nessessary items for leveling kit it was just a decision I made when doing it. if you measure everything before and after the install you will know why these are options. adjustable tracbar are aroung 300 buck or so. the control arms about 250...
