Need help with side mirror!

Had a bird strike the other day and it broke the plastic covering the long arm of the driver's side tow mirror. Need suggestions on where to locate the part number or if Dodge or any aftermarket suppliers carry these two pieces. They go together like a clamshell over the aluminum arm.

TIA

I broke the RH side mirror after the second month of owning my truck, I found this site for parts. Bought my mirror and front end cold weather cover from them. You might try this site.

Thanks guys. Still looking for just the plastic or a broke mirror with good plastic. Can't really justify the cost of replacement mirror yet.

I doubt you will find just plastic as that's what most break. The mirrors often survive an incident, rarely the plastic. The mirrors only come as an entire assembly, no sub parts. Many here buy them on eBay, AM-Autoparts for one. I see them there from $75 to $125 plus shipping. The mirrors may vibrate a bit more than stock, but are otherwise identical and good quality.

If you have to buy a new mirror, check on the price for the set of two. When I bought last time, a set was about the same price as an individual mirror. You may be able to sell on here or on E bay and recoup some of your money.
