Hey, anyone have a source for the nav DVD. bought truck used, no nav DVD. Dealer wants like $400 ouch!!

 

For the whole unit? Or just the disc?

This place had the discs for $200.

If you scroll down from there a bit there is mention of getting a "free update" to a newer version. Maybe you could play that in your favor?

hey thanks for the reply,. that is just what i needed for the radio/nav unit. I thought the dealer said 400 for disc, could be mistaken. Think i'll got take to them again and see if i can get coupon for free upgrade disc. wont hold my breath tho.
I bought my truck used and the guy who traded it in wanted disc for new truck. after reading on web site u gave me, looks like he doesnt even need it. Like the radio and cd dont no about the rest of it till i get a dvd for it. Thanks again

 

I'd even call the customer service people and ask about the free upgrade. They made their money selling the unit already. But $200 isn't as bad but might want to wait for the release early next year if you go that route.

If you could find someone who had the disc, and a DVD burner, you might be able to copy it.

When you get the disc could you post what you think about the unit? I'm a GPS junkie, and having it integrated in dash seems nice, but not if it's some crappy system.

 

Sure steve i'd be glad to let ya no when i find out somwthin. Called Customer service today said i needed dvd to et number for free update. Goin back to dealer tomorrow and see if they'll do somethin for me ha ha ha
