You can purchase a better quality more durable foam from upholstery shops. I would imagine some extra foam and some glue and you are "good as new".

The cloth around the bottom part of the seat comes up pretty easy. The bottom edges of the cloth are just wraped around the seat frame with some clips. If you look under the seat you'll see what I mean. You probably wont be able to completely remove it, but you can get it off enough to mess around with it. I let the sides and front loose then just tugged it tward the rear of the seat.
