My overhead keeps resetting on its own & my foglights are turning off by themself.

If I let my truck sit for more than a few hours the overhead MPG display will reset itself and go to 15mpg when I crank it back up. Also my foglights turn off automatically it seems as well.

My radio presets stay the same and so does the ODO.

When it was at the dealer a couple weeks ago they said they had a problem I had never encountered which was a P2509 low voltage code which caused it to have a long start and no crank. I'm hoping they didn't screw anything up while working on it because this problem along with the one stated above is new to me.

Could this be an indication of anything major or could my less than 2 year old batteries be biting the dust already? What would cause this?

Thanks in advance!

I dont know anything but on my 03, the overhead was doing strange things. I was told to disconnect the batts for awhile and reconnect them. It cured it! Sounds like it might not work on yours though.

Still no clue as to what it can be. Might try disconnecting the batteries.
