Lookin good!

Was it a rollover?

And I bet you got a pretty good deal on it, and fixing it yourself, should make some decent money off it if you sell

Ya it was a slow roll, the guy slid in some ice and flopped it. Got it for a good price, but don't plan on selling this one. This is the truck I have been wanting for awhile, just could never afford it till now.

Looks like a fun project to me!

Did you replace the cab roof or the entire cab?

The guy I sold my wrecked '03 to is doing the same thing. I asked him to send me some pics when it's done. Look in my gallery for pics of my wrecked truck.

Edited: Great job on the rebuild it looks good. I like that color to.

I just cut the cab about 1/2 way down the pillars above the hinges. I've done lots of quarter panels and frame rails, but this was WAY harder, had to make sure all doors lined up and SEALED

After looking at your pictures again that's what I figured you did. I also was thinking it must have been fun to get the door openings just right and get the doors to seal.
Did you get the parts off a junk cab or what?

It was quite an experience. I got the truck from a buddy who works a wrecking yard, he had all the new/used parts all ready for the truck. He had also already cut the top off, so I had no idea what they started with ( I like takeing things apart myself) all the interior was out, so it was a big puzzle putting it back together.

Cool man, you do great work, cant wait to see it when it is finished.

Do you have any other plans besides a bumper and leveling kit for it?

After I drive it awhile and make sure nothing needs fine tuning, I am going to do a two tone paint with some pearl orange graphics to seperate the two colors. The bottom will be a bright silver color and leave the top gray. I will do guages and programmers as the money allows.

Sweet build. Looks like a ton of work. Me...I do the opposite. I strip down old cars and run 'em in the demolition derby!
