Are Mud FLaps Universal???
One of my ilustrious mud flaps from the dealer left me and the inner lining is just hanging there. I was going to go down to local auto Parts store and pick some new ones up, are these universal fit???? Thanks!!!

I guess I don't know what you are asking?
I have installed many sets of mudflaps on different trucks. Normally, the package the mudflaps come in have diagrams on them, which align to certain bolt patterns for different trucks. Line those up, drill them out and presto, mudflaps. Or the old fashioned way, hold them up and drill them out?

It depends. Some are application specific, semi specific or universal. I just picked up some Proflaps for mine. Typical pain in the butt install, but they are nice.

Some come pre-drilled to fit your factory holes, others you must drill to fit yourself. Usually they come in pairs.
I got mine from http://www.kaydenco.com/index.html (Dura Flaps). They are high quality, pre-drilled to fit our trucks, work fantastically with both the front and rear fender liners. The install is easy, quality hardware, really nice complimentary appearance to our trucks. Also - FAST delivery.

Thanks guys, your all correct, it is specific to the truck. I found some really cool After market ones at www.trucktoys.com and they are black with the Inferno red "Ram" head on them for 40.00. Only bad thing is, they have to be shipped from TN!

AkitaSumo.
I don't have any pics at this time, I am out of town using my laptop/wifi and do not have my camera with me. I will be back home middle of next week, so that's the earliest I would be able to get pics up.

When I bought the mud flaps for my truck, all they had were the front pair. So I bought some "Ford" mud flaps for the rear (1/2 price. Great customer service!!!), and they fit fine. The salesman said the "Ford" ones were just a little wider than Dodge.
