I like the lockable storage in the side of the bed, but I dislike that the center console does away with the front center seat. I REALLY like the 40/20/40 split with the underseat storage compartment on my current RAM. I hope it's still available on the new ones.

I like it overall. The interior is nearly identical to the charger with only a few small differences. I dont like the huge center console, but that was already available anyway. I do like the fact that they will have a true crew cab. The current QC is a little small and most MC are ugly, IMO.

I bet they will have two interiors one with a bench and the other with a console. I've lost many bets.

It says in one of the articles that work trucks (ie. lower models) will have bench seats. Whether or not that means the 40/20/40 is beyond me.

Not too crazy about these interior colors, but here are a couple photos of a 2009 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab with the 40/20/40 bench seat.

I thought they finally got it right when I bought my 2003. 6-speed, short 4-door, cummins, straight front axle, and it LOOKS like a truck. The heavy duty trucks better not look like that. Stupid all around, it looks like something Hot Wheels would make.

Wow, I'm impressed.

It should be a great option when they add the Cummins to the 1/2 ton in 2010

I have a few hopes for the 3/4 and 1 ton which I assume is also 2010:

1. don't make the wheel wells too small. I see where they have reduced the size of these for aerodynamics. They better leave room for larger wheels/tires that people add to 1 ton trucks; and they need room for tire chains.

2. I hope they consider other instrument options, including: gauges and brake controllers as factory options.

3. Of minor note, they should just consider LEDs for rear tail lights rather than bulbs.

Looking forward...
