Mopar engine oil freshener part # 5139947AA. Anyone ever try it out ?

Oh boy........let me grab my popcorn!

I'd say stay away from freshening up your oil, just change it regularly. You will probably get some more creative answers though.

It helps the "oil smell" a lot of guys complain about shortly after having the oil changed. The smell seems to go away after some miles, but some say it is more noticable with different brands of oil. That product is supposed to help make it a more pallatable smell. ( less offensive )

I don't care what anyone says I'm not putting anything in my crankcase except oil. Something "to freshen up" the oil smell is not my idea of a good time.

I think a lot of it came about to deal with the older Rotella. It would smell pretty harsh. The new Rotella for ULSD doesn't smell nearly as rough
