Lubing sealed suspension parts

I read some of the stories about premature ball joint failures and am thinking about using the hypodermic needle to add some grease to these areas.

Are there any problems with doing this, such as water intrusion or busting seals?

I am thinking about adding grease up to the point that the resistance increases and sticking some electrical tape over the hole for good measure. Are there any other sealed areas that should also be lubed (apart from the 3 known ones)?

Thanks,

Noob

I wouldn't mess with them. If you do and the dealer notices, they'll void them...

I only have 7500 miles on the truck and didn't think about that angle.

IMO no reason to.
I read some people do inject grease under the boot, but all the does is let the grease sit on top of the ball. its never goes into the socket where the lube is needed.

It will work into the socket, not as much or as rapidly as you would like, but it will.
