looking for the interior light wire....
Easiest place to get at it is behind your overhead console or behind the passenger side 'A' pillar.
I have one caution about adding too much more amperage to the wires. The gauge is so light, I'm not so sure they'll handle alot more current draw.

thanks festus, I wound up using my dc ampmeter to locate the hot and the neutral on the driver's pillar, it was a pretty small guage wire though. The running board lights are led's and not the super bright ones, so I think it will be ok.
