Can't wait, starting my BOMB'ing well not in the truest sense. I ordered my LEER Cap (100XL) with some nice extras, ordered new Pro Comp 33" Mud Terrains on Rockcrawler Black Steel Wheels and just recieved my Bedrug and Rear Wheel liners. Also just ordered custom dual antenna mounts and matching Firestik antennas. Just need the CB mount now. Can't wait until everything gets in one spot...here! So I can put it all together and get this puppy looking like I want it! Then I'll post some before and after pics and start a gallery. You guys all ready have me hooked. If it weren't for warranty issues I'd be more likely to dive into BOMB'ing the Drivetrain.

I know what you mean Hondo! I'm adding afew things to my ride as well - rear wheel liners, 4x4 Cummins decals on side of bed, upgraded floor mats (Mopar), door entry stainless steel inserts (Mopar), and Dee Zee Running boards.

where are you putting the firestiks? i had a single 36" firestik and never could get a good SWR with it, traded for a 5' wilson mag mount. fiberglass is inferior to stainless and dual antennas aren't good for much more than looks, a single stainless whip will sound much better.

 

I quess that I have to say that I am going more for looks. I will be using the CB rarely and only in close groups when camping like with my dad or when my buddy and I have to take seperate trucks to a hunting location. I am sure with my dad's help I'll get it to work pretty well.

Oh yea, I am mounting them to the front of the cap on each side. I found custom mounts that have a very clean look. They too are made by Firestik.
