leveling the truck
I concur. I have the hellbent leveling kit and 315's truck sits level and was less than 100 bucks.
I would like to level my truck out and want to go higher in the front, not lower in the rear.
If I put in 2" spacers in the front, does it mess with the alignment or geometry of the front end? I'd rather leave it like it is than introduce some bad handling or tire wear. Thanks.

Anytime you do anything up there you should get it aligned.
Ya might wanna do a search on "Death Wobble" before levelling though, seems to be mostly with lifted trucks, lotsa people have DW problems with BFG AT's in the 315 size too...

I was talking to my parts guy (dealership) about heavier springs after putting the front bumper on my truck, he told me that Dodge has 4 different spring types listed for my 3500, 2 of them are heavier coils than the ones that came in my truck, he's ordering me the heaviest ones and we're going to try them out, they were $80CAD each and He also said If I didn't like the way they sat or rode I could return them.
I added the 2" levleing kit to the front, install took about two hours, have not had any problems, but you will want to get longer shocks. The stock shocks will not extend enough when going fast over hills, they kind of limit travel in the front axle. Don't remember which brand it was, but was solid aluminum spacer. No death wobbles either.
I was going to try to add some info to this, but I think it has been covered.
Many different stock front springs, not sure they will net a 2" lift u front. I think they are just set up to not sag as much. If you have not added any more weight to the front you may net some gain.
Many different options on leveling kits.
If you do go with a leveling kit, you should replace with new longer shocks.
My last comment, if you are going to pull it all out and put it back in. Why not just get the components and do it all at once. I have had my front suspension in and out many times and I am quite quick at it now. But wish I only did it once.
Random thoughts for the AM.

I purchased the 988 springs from Dodge and it did a great job of leveling my truck. Raised the front about 1 1-2". Stiffened up the ride some, but I like it. Springs cost me about $140 each IIRC and $90.00 to have installed.
Here's mine with D25's......H2's with 315's... I have the Lorenz sway bar links up front - stock shocks. Rides pretty good. I am actually going to a 4" lift in the next week or two, so these will be up for sale (springs and links).
