Leveling kit needed?

I'm hoping to install a Leer 100XQ Camper Shell shortly and wanted to hear anybody else that has a shell on there truck. Does it sag with the weight of the sheel and will the leveling kit still be necessary??

Depends on the weight. You call it a shell. Is it a cap or a slide in camper? Actually it will probably help give it a level look. These trucks are higher in the rear to begin with.

Shells/toppers are light. You're truck won't know it's there. I was told my Leer was about 200 lbs.

Was looking at my truck tonight with our 16' inclosed job trailer hooked up and loaded, not sure what the tongue weight is with the trailer loaded but it's alot more than a topper and the truck is barely level. I agree with mestdagh, won't know it's there..LCH

Thanks for the replys.

It is a topper or cap as you say. Just a regional thing I suppose. I was hoping the topper and a truck vault type box in the bed would level it out some. I've been warned about the "death wobble" when using a leveling kit.

Thanks for the help
