I seem to have a problem finding the pictures I have already uploaded to this site. Admin any suggestions. When I go to look for them it is like I am not logged in. I found one of the pics and then I tried to look again and I could not even find that one now.

DTR doesnt let you have pics of a good size...it's best to just create a free account at photobucket or something similar, and just copy the [img] link right into the thread...my pics one page back on pg 5 are linked from photobucket..

No cab lights

Apparently they were. I recently received a recall notice telling me to bring in the truck and the dealer will install the cab lights free.

Daimler/Chrysler has decided that some 2006 Ram 3500 Mega Cab trucks with dual rear wheels fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 -- Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment.Your truck may have been inadvertantly manufactured without the roof mounted cab clearance lamps. Without these lamps, other vehicle operators may not detect the increased width of your vehicle, which could cause a crash without warning.

I'm not sure I understand how clearance lights on the cab roof are going to prevent someone from hitting my side rear fenders. Of course, the Feds don't have to explain anything to anyone!

Interestingly enough, the clearance lamps are not listed on the window sticker, neither as standard equipment nor as a delete option.

From what I've seen on this forum in the past month, DRW Laramie MegaCabs aren't too common. This was the only one I could find at in stock at any dealer in the Washington-Baltimore area in May.

Those are Mopar accessories. When I bought the truck, it did not have the trailer tow mirrors. So I asked the dealer if they could replace them with the tow mirrors. They said they'd go ahead and order and install the Mopar ones. I looked through the accessory catalog, and noticed that there are actually 3 different types of tow mirrors listed. I chose the ones that are power, heated, and have turn-signal marker lights. These mirrors are huge, and they extend out (manually) for towing. I'm very pleased with those mirrors; the side marker lights add a lot. I'll try to post a picture with the truck towing my 24-ft Haulmark car hauler.
